Pocatello man dies from injuries
Laddie McMaster, who was found lying on the road in flames on Sunday, succumbed to his injuries Monday.
McMaster and his pickup were found on 2 Mile Road around 4 p.m. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office and state fire marshal Ivan Hibbert investigated the incident.
They found the fire started in the cab area of the truck and it was most likely accidental.
McMaster was airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center. From there he was taken to the University of Utah Burn Center in Salt Lake City.
McMaster’s dog was with him but wasn’t hurt.
