Suspects named in Idaho Falls killing

Idaho Falls police have identified two suspects in connection with the beating death of 36-year-old Josh Olzak.

Police said Tanner R. Cox of Idaho Falls, 22, and Nickolas R. Arguello, 21, of Ammon, were involved in a road rage incident Saturday morning. The men are not in custody and haven’t been officially charged, police said.

In the vehicle with Olzak was Josh Loveless, who said three cars followed them after they left a bar. Loveless said after they were almost ran off of the road, he and Olzak got out of the vehicle only to be beaten immediately for no apparent reason.

Olzak died Monday. Loveless had to undergo surgery on his jaw.

Police are still looking into this and are asking for anyone who was with Cox and Arguello at the Peppertree Lounge on Friday night or early Saturday morning to contact them.

Investigators are also looking for two vehicles: a white Dodge Durango and a light-colored vehicle, possibly a Subaru Impreza or a Volkswagon Jetta, connected with the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (208) 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
