Man arrested on drug, weapons charges in Idaho Falls stop

An Idaho Falls man who was stopped for reckless driving was arrested on various drug and weapons charges early Tuesday morning.

Charles A. Clark II, 41, was pulled over around 2:15 a.m. near Cranmer Avenue and East 14th. During the stop, officers found Clark had methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a Hi-Point .45 ACP handgun, police said.

Clark was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving and possession of a concealed weapon. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
