A Minnesota man and woman were arrested Saturday on suspicion of trafficking marijuana.

Idaho State Police stopped a 2015 Hyundai passenger car traveling north on Interstate 15 at milepost 123, just outside of Idaho Falls for a traffic infraction.

An ISP drug detection dog was called to the scene and alerted to drugs inside the vehicle. In a subsequent search, a trooper found approximately 173 pounds of packaged marijuana.

The driver, 39-year-old Koua Lor of Ramsey, Minnesota and passenger, 20-year-old Aue Thao of Brooklyn Center, were both arrested for felony trafficking of marijuana and booked into the Bonneville County jail.
