Gooding police seek armed robber
Gooding police are looking for a man who held up the Maverik convenience store at 1899 Highway 26 in Gooding at around 11:50 p.m. June 15th. The man displayed a gun and escaped with money and cigarettes.
Police are attempting to locate Anthony Parsons, formerly of Arco and now living in Boise, for questioning in connection with the case. He is described as being 6′ tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
According to Gooding police, a male subject entered the store and held the clerk at gunpoint, and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. The man was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a black zip-up hoodie, and had what appeared to be a turquoise shirt underneath the hoodie.
Parsons was connected to a stolen vehicle found abandoned in Lincoln County. A second vehicle reported stolen there was seen at the convenience store near the time of the armed robbery.
Parsons may be traveling with a 17-year-old Arco girl who was reported missing by her family June 12.
