App connects users to Pocatello City Hall

Pocatello City Hall just introduced a new app to help keep you informed and save you time.

This new app allows you to do many things, such as finding department information and reaching city officials, to making reports on city issues you may spot when you’re out and about.

If you see a pothole on your daily commute or notice a location in Pocatello in need of some sanitation attention, you can easily use the “Report It” function.

Your concern is then sent to the mayor’s assistant, who sends it to the appropriate department.

Chief Information Officer Chris Sorensen said, “The app is always with you, especially on your phone. So when the citizen needs to learn something, needs to find a phone number, needs to report something, it’s on their phone a couple clicks away.”

The new app also allows you to watch City Council meetings live. The Pocatello City Hall app is free and available for both Apple and Android devices.
