Ammon man accused of stealing from employer

An Ammon man stole more than $6,000 from his employer, Idaho Falls police said.

Jeremy A. Leavitt, 37, was arrested Thursday on a charge of grand theft.

Police said Leavitt used credit card owned by his employer, Potandon Produce, for unauthorized cash advances totaling $6,684.

Business managers told officers the cash advances were made between June 22 and Wednesday.

Leavitt was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
