Reward offered for information on stolen calves

Idaho State Brand Investigator Luke Davis says 19 calves were reported missing from the Sand Creek area in Fremont County.

Davis said the calves belonged to Ron Wilcox and were taken from Lemon Lake road in Fremont County. The calves were found missing when Wilcox rounded up 65 cow-calf pair from the property on June 26th. The animals were released there May 12th.

The calves have “WZ” branded on their right hip. They are black with a white face and the heifer calves will have a green tag in the left ear and a blue tag in the right ear. Steers will have a blue tag in the left ear and a green tag in the right ear.

Wilcox is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the prosecution or conviction of suspects.
