Coroner rules inmate died of natural causes

Teton County, Wyoming Coroner Dr. Brent Blue has confirmed an inmate found dead in the county jail Thursday morning died of natural causes.

According to the coroner, Kenneth Scott Millward, 47, died of severe arteriosclerotic coronary vascular disease. He said results of further testing, including microscopic and toxicology reports will be completed in about two weeks.

Emergency personnel were called to the jail at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday when detention center staff discovered Millward, “who appeared to be sleeping.” He was pronounced dead at the scene.
