Arson reported at Rexburg Nature Park
Rexburg Police are investigating a small fire set in a restroom at the Rexburg Nature Park Saturday.
Police found a small pile of paper towels and a plastic substance had been lit on fire. Rexburg-Madison firefighters extinguished the fire, which burnt some of the paint on the wall. There was also smoke damage to the walls and ceiling, but no structural damage.
The person who reported the incident said he saw four juveniles leaving the restroom laughing. He said they got on BMX style bicycles and rode away.
Investigation is continuing.
