Alasyn Zimmerman

Alasyn joined the Local News 8/KIDK Eyewitness News team in May 2015. Shortly after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder (go Buffs!), she packed up her things and went from one part of the Rocky Mountains to the other.

While a student at CU, she interned for KCNC in Denver, bieMedia, and worked as a student news intern for the university’s strategic communications department.

Alasyn is excited to tell stories in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. She loves getting to learn something new everyday and is eager to serve the community and meet all the amazing people in these parts. She’s excited to have her dream job in a beautiful place (a bonus that so many national parks are around here!).
