Donation to help build Terreton playground

A contribution from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation will help the West Jefferson School District #253 replace aging playground equipment at the Terreton Elementary School.

School officials accepted a $5,000 check from the utility’s foundation. Rocky Mountain Power originally donated $1,250 from its community fund to kick off a fund-raising campaign last spring.

“Not only will the new playground equipment provide a safe and fun environment for students,” said School Superintendent Dwight Richins,”but also for the community.”
