Idaho Army National Guard training

More than 2,500 soldiers from the Army National Guard are getting ready to attend the Army’s premier National Training Center located in California.

The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team along with Idaho Army National Guard units will be training. The exercise will be to ensure the soldiers’ war fighting capabilities.

What makes this training so important is that it gives soldiers a simulated war battle experience.

Units from the Army Reserve and active-duty Army units will also participate in this training rotation. The training is expected to last for a few weeks.
