Idaho Falls ready to implement auto-load garbage collection

Idaho Falls will implement the first phase of its residential auto-load garbage collection program this month.

Nearly 4,200 homes will be converted to the automated system in August.

Flyers outlining the conversion will be distributed to those included in the first phase beginning Monday.

New refuse carts will be delivered to those homes between August 17th and the 27th.

Automated services will begin on August 31st.
