Pocatello fog sealing projects continues

More than 30 streets will be sealed this week, starting with three on Monday.

Sections of Jefferson Avenue, Benton Street and Garfield Avenue will be swept and fog sealed between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During those hours, no parking will be allowed on those streets. Any parked cars will be towed to nearby side streets.

To avoid any delays, drivers are encouraged to drive on different routes. Flaggers will be on the roads to direct traffic in construction areas.

The following streets will be sealed this week–

Monday, Aug. 17: Jefferson Avenue (from Oak Street to Alameda Road), Benton Street (from 5th Avenue to 12th Avenue), Garfield Avenue (from Benton Street to East Street)

Tuesday, Aug. 18: Center Street (from Union Pacific Avenue to Garfield Avenue), Bonneville Street (from 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue), East Street, North Street, West Lander Street (from Garfield Avenue to Hayes Avenue), Stanford Avenue, Yale Street, 13th Avenue (from Center Street to Bonneville Street)

Wednesday, Aug. 19: Gould Street (from Arthur Avenue to dead end), Day Street (from Shoshone Street to Grant Avenue), Johnson Avenue (from Fremont Street to Hayden Street), Wyeth Street (from Lincoln Avenue to Portneuf River), Lincoln Avenue (from Wyeth Street to Hayden Street), Hayden Street (from Lincoln Avenue to Johnson Avenue), Willow Avenue (from Hayden Street to Sublette Street), Buchanan Avenue (from Sublette Street to Custer Street), Carson Street (from Arthur Avenue to Garfield Street), Bonneville Street (from Arthur Avenue to Portneuf River), Sublette Street (from Willow Avenue to Buchanan Avenue), Hayes Avenue (from Gould Street to Day Street)

Thursday, Aug. 20: Lamb Road, Whitewater Road, Pebble Lane, Walkabout Road, City Creek Road (from Lincoln Avenue to Galaxy Court), Sun Up Drive, Milky Way Court, Galaxy Court, Clinton Street, Hilo Drive, Sunset Road.
