Man arrested for poisoning dogs

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 21-year-old Christopher I. Hill for one count of poisoning animals.

On August 17, 2015, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a possible dog poisoning in the Lyman area of the county. The sheriff’s office began an investigation and a suspect and case were developed.

On August 20th the sheriff’s office obtained a felony arrest warrant for Christopher I. Hill of Madison County, for one count of poisoning animals under Idaho Code 25-3503.

According to Captain Bruce Bowler of the Madison County Sheriff’s office, Hill poisoned four dogs using multiple types of poisonous substances mixed with meat. He also say Hill may poisoned the animals as part of an on going feud between Hill and the owners of the dogs.

Hill was booked into the Madison County Jail and bonded out on the Court assigned Bond of $5,000.
