Kindness Week comes to Bannock County

The Bannock County Commission gathered Wednesday, to sign a proclamation which will kick off September 21st as the start of Kindness Week.

During the signing commissioner Howard Manwaring spoke out about the importance of the community being educated on the importance of being kind to one another.

Mayor Brian Blad is looking forward to the showing of a anti-bullying film which will be shown to sixth and seventh graders.

Its a nationwide movement which started out in Southern California.

“So all the schools in district 25, all the young women in sixth and 7th grade young women will be bused up to Stevens performing arts center, where they can view this video and have somebody talk to them about it and talking about the different crimes and why its not right,”said Mayor Blad.

The film Finding Kind will be shown only once on September 23rd.
