Idaho Falls woman arrested for robbery

Idaho Falls Police arrested 24-year-old Tessa L. Wilde for robbery after she stole a set of keys out of another women’s vehicle ignition during a confrontation Friday night.

Wilde of Idaho Falls was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail for a Bonneville County warrant and malicious injury to property.

According to the police report, officers responded to the 1000 block of 10th street for a report of a fight in progress. When they arrived officers spoke to the 49-year-old victim. The victim said that while she was driving east on 10th street, Wilde stood in front of her vehicle to get her to stop. The victim stopped and Wilde proceeded to open the driver’s door and began hitting her and screaming the vehicle was stolen.

During the confrontation, Wilde broke the blinker lever off the steering wheel and took the keys from the ignition. Wilde also took a skateboard from the backseat and threatened the victim with it before leaving.

Wilde was found at a residence in the same block.

The vehicle was confirmed to belong to the victim.
