Afton Readiness Center grand opening scheduled

The Wyoming Army National Guard will formally open its new Afton Readiness Center in a ceremony at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead and Adjutant General Major General Luke Reiner will attend.

The $14 million center is located at 391 Warrior Way.

The state provided $3.3 million with the remainder coming through the federal Future Years Defense Program budget.
