“Fill the Boot” underway in Ammon

Ammon firefighters are “Filling the Boot” this weekend to raise money for local children with muscular dystrophy.

The money raised will directly benefit Idaho families. These funds help send children to MDA summer camp and pay for medical equipment repairs.

Firefighters said helping these kids is all worth it.

“We actually bring in a lot of kids that get help from the MDA every year,” said
Lt. John Molbert. “Every year they get to see the good that we do and the money that we raise, and it’s just really rewarding to see how excited they are and how much we can help them out.”
