SUV crashes into Idaho Falls home

The Idaho Falls Police Departmentis investigating after an SUV crashed into a house in the 1200 block of Spratt Street.

Police said thecrash happened just before 6:00 p.m. The driver was heading west on 12th Street and jumped the curb before the vehicle smashed into the house.

According to police, the homeowner left the room only moments before the crash and no one was hurt.

The driver was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
