Plans for Idaho Falls Event Center move forward

The Idaho Falls Auditorium District is moving forward to build a $35 million event center.

The Center will be located on Snake River Landing on 23 acre plot of land that was donated by Ball Ventures, a local business.

The new center will house sporting events and concerts.

The Chairmen of the Auditorium District, Cindy Ozaki, hopes that the event center will attract foot traffic as wells as bring in revenue to the city.

“A great asset to not only the community but the auditorium district because the value of the money is an amount that we don’t have to go out and raise funds for, so its a huge donation to us,” said Ozaki.

A completion date for the project has not been announced yet.
