Chubbuck candidates voice their positions on issues

Wednesday night was the Chubbuck City Council candidates’ turn to tell voters where they stand on the issues.

The League of Women Voters of Pocatello sponsored another candidate forum for the four people running for Chubbuck City Council. Like the forum in Pocatello on Tuesday, questions asked in the forum were submitted by the audience.

The candidates focused a lot of their answers on beautifying the city and marketing the amenities the city has, such as the mall. When asked about the possible consolidation between the Chubbuck and Pocatello fire departments, all candidates said they needed more information for a definite answer.
