Shelley man faces charges for biting another person

A Shelley man has been arrested for allegedly biting another person on the arm. The man also attempted to bite an arresting officer.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s office confirms that 33-year-old Matthew Wade was booked into the county jail Friday October 9th. He is facing several charges, including battery and resisting arrest.

According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy responded to a disturbance call and found three people struggling to hold Wade down. Wade had already bitten one of the three. As the deputy attempted to arrest the man, Wade also tried to bite the deputy.

No court date has been set at this time.
