Jefferson Elementary teacher receives $1,000 grant
Idaho Education Association gathered today at Jefferson Elementary School to surprise 4th grade teacher, Michelle Rogers with a $1,000 grant.
Rogers will use the grant for mathematics lessons as well as physical education equipment at the school. She applied for the grant some time ago and never expected to be selected. Today, she was surprised in front of her entire class with the big thousand-dollar check.
“I’m really forunate for the IEA to have this money set aside for us. So we can use it. So we’ll have it for all our 4th grade kiddos. “
