120 Southeastern Idaho schools scratched their way to success Tuesday night.

The Idaho Lottery held their 13 annual Scratch for schools event.

Teachers scratched lottery tickets to win money for their schools.

All the money won will go towards new playground equipment, text books and computers.

Sixty elementary schools competed.

The fastest scratching schools were Ridge Crest Elementary from Blackfoot and Discovery Elementary from Idaho Falls, which both scratched all 300 tickets during the final round.

Ridge Crest was the winner and won $636.

The total amount awarded was $15,883.
