Small business loans double in Idaho

Small business loans have more than doubled in the last year in Idaho, according to Zions Bank.

Those loans have helped maintain more than 500 jobs and create about another 500 across the state.

They might be small, but mom-and-pop businesses make up a lot of the jobs in Idaho.

“They provide a lot of opportunities for the business. For individuals maybe looking for employment, to maybe go get a job at that business,” said Bryant Searyle, a banker at Zions Bank.
