Allegis hosts “Touching Lives” to fight hunger

Just over 1 in 9 people out of 795 million are undernourished globally. Today, Allegis Financial Partners is helping to battle hunger and help save lives.

Allegis is partnering up with Youth Encounter for “Touching Lives” food-packaging event in Pocatello. Volunteers will work with an assembly line and help bag ingredients. The bags are then delivered to local food pantries and internationally to developing countries, for the starving and malnourished.

Each bag of food contains complete meals.

Allegis and the Youth Encounter plan to pack over 15,000 meals today to feed approximately 41 children, a meal a day for a year.
