Community members support Ammon city leaders

It was packed at the Ammon city council meeting Thursday night.

Some people came out to voice their support for the council and mayor.

The group did this because of controversy surrounding a letter sent out by the council.

The letter was in support of District 93’s bond to build a new high school.

One man spoke against the letter.

Three others say they appreciate their city leaders for their support.

The majority of the group only stayed for public comment.

Seventy-one other people also wrote letters, supporting the council decision.
