Idaho Falls man arrested for aggravated assault
Idaho Falls Police arrested 33-year-old Gary R. Wright for two counts of aggravated assault with a vehicle as a deadly weapon and malicious injury to property after he intentionally drove a truck into the Rose Shop Sunday night.
Wright of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail. According to reports, officers responded to a pick-up truck versus building crash at 615 E. First St. around 10:05 p.m. During their investigation, two passengers in the vehicle stated Wright, the driver, intentionally drove the pick-up truck off the road and into the Rose Shop.
Damage to the Rose Shop is estimated at more than $300,000.
