Melaleuca gives employees over $2 million in bonuses

Some Melaleuca employees are smiling big.

Tuesday the company gave out over $2 million in loyalty and longevity bonuses.

The bonuses are given to employees who have worked for the company for at least five years and range between $5,000 and $30,000 depending on how long they’ve worked there.

Employees are free to use the money however they like, but they are encouraged to use it to plan for retirement.

The idea is to give the company’s employees the chance to save $1 million for retirement by investing in the company’s 401(k) program.

Melaleuca has given out over $17.5 million in bonuses since it started the bonus program in 2007.
