Applebee’s honors veterans with Fallen Soldier Table

Applebee’s honored veterans Wednesday by serving up free meals.

The restaurant also does something else that is special. One table is set aside as The Fallen Soldier Table.

This table was set up at the Applebee’s in Idaho Falls. Each item on the table symbolized the commitment and sacrifice of veterans who did not make it back home.

For Veteran Bob Reinisch he says Veterans Day is also about saying thank you.

“I always thank God for the opportunity like this to thank all of our veterans. Especially those who can’t be with us today. But especially (those) from Vietnam. Also, we don’t say thank you to them, we say welcome home.”
