Three injured following crash on Highway 20 in Madison County
A crash on Highway 20 near the Lorenzo Bridge has been cleared.
The Madison County Sheriff’s office says a semi truck was crossing the northbound lanes to go south. The driver of the semi didn’t see the car that was heading north and hit it.
The sheriff’s office says three people were in the car and had to be extricated by emergency crews, all three were taken by ground ambulance to EIRMC.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured. He was cited for the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
