PSA warns not to drink and drive

Idaho State Police teamed up with Montana Highway Patrol to produce a joint PSA on preventing driving under the influence. The PSA is set to air Sat. when ISU plays Montana in football.

And since the holidays are just around the corner, it’s only logical to extend that PSA out to a wider audience than just football fans.

Idaho State Trooper, Tagg Williams says there will be more officers patrolling the roads more than last year. He says they will be on the look out for impaired drivers of any kind.

Williams also says DUI checkpoints are unlikely for the Pocatello area.

“If a citizen sees an impaired driver on the road, give us a call, give us the plate information, vehicle information and we’ll definitely try to find the vehicle.”

Never hesitate to report drunk drivers on the road. Call Idaho State Police at either location:

Pocatello: 208-236-6466

Idaho Falls: 208-525-7377
