Idaho Transportation Dept. ready for snow storms

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go in Southeastern Idaho. That’s why the transportation dept. is ready to keep our roads safe for travel this holiday season.

“We anticipate the worst and hope for the best,” said John Paul Culligan of the Idaho Transportation Dept. He keeps the crews ready night and day for any weathering change for our roadways.

Trucks and trucks of salt and brine is locked and loaded for the coming of snow storms.

ISP has reported several road accidents so far on the interstate freeways.

ITD wants to lower that number and wants to let the community know to slow down if they must travel during snowy conditions.
