Race to Feed the Hungry
Some in Idaho Falls will be getting up early Thanksgiving morning to participate in the ‘Race to Feed the Hungry,’ an annual event to raise money for local food banks.
The race will take place at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls activities starts at 8 a.m with the race starting at 9 a.m. There will be prizes handed out for those who attend and all proceeds will go toward The Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls.
Founder and Event Director, Michael Hays said he started the organization in 2005 and it has grown ever since.
