District 91 school board to discuss possible renovations

The District 91 school board will meet Wednesday night to decide if they’ll give administrations permission to seek architect, engineering, and construction firms for possible renovations on the high schools.

A request for qualifications (RFQ) will be made for the administrators to look into qualifications for possible firms to work with.

In 2012, a $53,000.000 bond was passed for the reconstruction of four elementary schools and other smaller improvement projects.

Depending on how the process goes, there a wide variety of improvements the district could look at making. Wednesday’s meeting is the first step in looking at the possibilities for schools and what options are available.

Wenesday’s meeting will be held at the District 91 office (690 John Adams Pkwy, Idaho Falls, ID 83401) at 7 p.m.
