Fort Hall man pleads guilty to selling meth

A Fort Hall man faces up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $1,000,000 after pleading guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Charles Eugene Allhands, 52, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill in U.S. District Court in Pocatello Wednesday.

According to a plea agreement, Allhands sold methamphetamine to a person at Allhand’s residence on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation on March 8, 2015.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 2, 2016.

The case was originally investigated by the Fort Hall Police Department, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
