Idaho’s Republican presidential primary ballot is set

The names of 13 candidates will appear on the Idaho Republican Presidential Primary Election ballot next spring. The filing deadline was Wednesday.

The 2016 ballot will include Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, John R. Kasich, Peter Messina, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Donald Trump.

“It’s a great time to be a Republican, we have many good quality candidates for Idaho Republican voters to choose from,” said Idaho GOP Executive Director David Johnston.

The republican presidential primary election will take place on March 8, 2016. All other federal, state, and local primary election races will be held during the regular primary election on May 17, 2016.
