Blackfoot man arrested for possession with intent to deliver

The Idaho Falls Police arrested 28-year-old Jacob P. Smith for possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, introducing contraband at the jail and a Bannock County Warrant Saturday afternoon.

Smith of Blackfoot was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to the Idaho Falls Police, officers received information that Smith, a wanted subject out of Bannock County, was in near 600 block of Park Avenue. He was located by police around 2:30 p.m. and taken into custody. During the arrest police found Smith was in possession of materials used to package drugs and drug paraphernalia. Later at the jail he was found in possession of 2.1 grams of Methamphetamine.
