Your Health Idaho enrollment deadline

The deadline for enrollment for Your Health Idaho is Tuesday, Dec. 15th.

This deadline is for people looking to have coverage by Jan. 1st of 2016. If you’re looking to get coverage by Feb. 1st or March you can still enroll at a later date.

The deadline for Feb. 1st coverage is Jan. 15th. For those looking for coverage by March 1st you can still apply at the end of the January.

If you miss the final deadline, you will be fined $695 or 2.5% of your income, whichever is greater.

Brokers in the area can also walk you through the process, David Jones of Riverside Benefits says there are several options you’ll want to look at such as “you might want to pay a little more for a plan that has a broader network and more doctors or maybe you want to save some money by having a narrower network of physicians and hospitals and pay less money or maybe you need dental insurance or vision insurance for the children,” said Jones.
