Idaho Falls Regional Airport planning updates to match city growth

As Idaho Falls continues to grow, the Idaho Falls Regional Airport is making sure it makes updates to keep inline with that growth.

Their goal is to provide the most efficient routes to help Idaho Falls businesses. The Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Idaho Falls Regional Airport to hold a meeting at the Artitorium tonight.

Airport officials have been speaking to local businesses and are working to create a daily non-stop route to Seattle. With Idaho Falls’ connection with the energy sector there needs to be routes associated to the pacific north west.

“After safety and security our main priority is building new routes for business and leisure travelers,” says Craig Davis, IDA airport director. “We are constantly trying to engage the community to see what their needs are and how we can meet those.”

Davis also says they plan to continue to add more routes for the growing Idaho Falls economy.
