Accident on Highway 20 at the Ashton Hill kills one

Idaho State Police have been investigating a crash on US Highway 20 that killed one at around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 5 miles east of Ashton at milepost 367, going up the Ashton Hill.

David Brallier, age 73, of Annandale, VA was westbound on US-20 in a Toyota Corrola when he crossed over the center line and struck a semi truck driven by Dell Judy, age 52 of Shelley.

Brallier was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the site of the crash as a result of his injuries. His passenger, Cheryl Brallier, age 66 and also of Annandale, VA, was transported by ground ambulance to Madison Memorial. She is currently in stable condition.

Dell, the driver of the semi, was not injured.

ISP is still investigating the crash.
