I-84 closed between I-86 and Utah Border

Idaho Transportation Department said blowing and drifting snow has forced the closure of Interstate 84 between I-86 interchange and the Utah boarder.

Heavy snow is forecast through the morning and may be ending this afternoon. But winds are a concern across the region with gusts up to 45 mph.

Winter weather advisory remains in effect through 11 p.m. Wednesday.
