Zoo offers winter learning classes

If your kids love animals and they are bored over the Christmas break, you may want to take them to the Idaho Falls zoo at Tautphaus Park.

It is hosting a series of learning classes for kids from ages 2 to 13.

They will get the chance to learn about the animals, such as the owls and penguins.
That way, they are not taking a break from education over the holidays.

“To learn really neat facts something that helps them relate as well as we deliver messages of conservation that they can do hear locally,” said Josh Astel, zoo assistant.
