Pocatello Regional Airport expects increased connections
Pocatello Regional Airport says inbound and outbound connection opportunities will increase by 111 destinations when a third weekday flight to Salt Lake City begins in March.
According to a study by airport staff, a connecting opportunity is a flight that is available with a 30 minute to 3 hour layover.
The Delta Connection Service is operated by SkyWest Airlines. The new service will offer three daily flights to Salt Lake. The airport will also offer twice daily service on weekends.
Altogether, Airport Manager David Allen said the new flight will increase available seats and weekly flights by nearly 50 percent. He said fares would also vary from flight to flight.
