‘Add the Words’ supporters rally in Idaho Falls

Supporters of the “Add the Words” campaign rallied on Broadway Bridge in Idaho Falls at noon today to openly voice their opinion to locals and the state Legislature.

“We want to let our legislators know that we want an ‘Add the Words’ bill passed, and that it’s something important to us,” said Elizabeth Cogliati, the organizer of today’s rally.

Cogliati said they plan to rally every Wednesday around noon until the legislative session is done, or a bill is passed.

The ‘Add the Words’ campaign is a push by people across Idaho to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” to the Idaho Human Rights Act.
