Madison High School launches online magazine

Madison High School in Rexburg has launched its own student run magazine.

It’s called the Bobcat Beat and gives the students the chance to publish their own stories.

The magazine covers a variety of school events, including sports.

Natalie Tanner said they haven’t had a newspaper in a couple years, and that they’re trying to express school spirit.

“Stories that normally wouldn’t be told, we’re just trying to bring those to light especially for the community and people outside of school,” Tanner said.

Tanner also said that she is grateful that her school has this creative writing program.
