Deadline to enroll in Your Health Idaho is January 31st
The deadline to sign up for health insurance coverage is midnight Sunday.
Uninsured Idahoans have until midnight, January 31, to enroll, select a plan, and submit payment in order to get healthcare coverage for 2016.
“We’ve received over 7-thousand calls since Monday as people realize the deadline is this weekend,” said Pat Kelly, YHI executive director. “Don’t delay. If you miss the deadline, you may have to wait another year before getting coverage.” Uninsured Idahoans may also face a federal fine for not having coverage.
Your Health Idaho will offer extended hours this weekend to assist customers. Idahoans may call 1-855-944-3246 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT, both Saturday and Sunday. Consumers can go online to enroll at YourHealthIdaho.org. Over 97-thousand Idahoans have selected health insurance plans through the exchange.
