Tayt, family pick up car Ellen DeGeneres gave them

Tayt Andersen, Ellen DeGeneres’ “only boyfriend,” and his family stopped by Broadway Ford on Friday to pick up the car that the talk show host gave them back in November.

Tayt, the Rigby boy born with half a heart, has appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” multiple times and developed a special relationship with Ellen. He was on her show back in November, when Ellen gave his family a car.

Tayt came to the attention of the comedian and talk show host in 2012, after “Ellen” viewers from eastern Idaho and around the world asked her to grant his wish of meeting her. Since then, Tayt and his mom, Chrissy, have appeared on her show more than once, and she has presented them with various gifts to help them through their ordeal.

Tayt and his mom said they are thankful for everything Ellen has done for them.
